This would be hilarious, were it not such an other fucking shambles.

Before anything else, someone needs to tell this pillock to stop talking about the ins and outs of the fucking club.

Moreover, what is actually funny is how someone on here didn't think anyone was allowed to have an opinion on Moyes as no one on here has managed a pro club. Now you've got one of his favourites telling the world that the manager doesn't actually know what he's doing.

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
He's clearly stating Scamacca is a very good footballer but the manger doesn't want footballers he wants fit battering rams to run around and rarely see the ball and just hope there is a moment they can get a shot on goal if they run around for long enough.....Fash the bash is the ideal striker for Moyes.....

Too bastardise Oscar Wilde

To dig out your manager once might be regarded as misfortune but to do it twice is carelessness.

Though the one earlier in the season about Moyes tactical approach was more damming

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
Here’s an idea

When play comes from the left, Bowen can come inside and play off him.

When play comes from the right, Benrahma can come inside and play off his.

When we play with 2 ( Downes & Paqueta) rather than 3 in the middle we can employ a number 10 (Lanzini or Fornals) and they can play off him.

I’m not sure it’s that difficult.

Re: Antonio on Scamacca

Just another of his cycles that have happened since he's been here.

Starts humble... plays well... gets massively above his station and turns into a prick... plays like a cunt... gets some humility back... plats well... rinse and repeat

Never been any different, and he shut his idiot mouth when he was playing like a cunt a few months back. Knuckled down, started playing better, and here we are again.

Antonio is so dense that light bends around him. What the fuck is he playing at making those comments before one of the biggest games we’ve had since the 70s? What good could possibly come from saying this at this specific point?

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
Hilarious comments by Antonio a week before cup final FFS.

The fact that he’s even commenting on a striker struggling to adapt is so hypercritical. When save for a purple patch in his career under Moyes of all managers, he’d be down in Championship most likely playing route 1 stuff.

Appreciate all Antonio’s done for us, the effort his given over the years but feck me he’s been a limitation and pain to watch on the most part.

Still if he bangs a hatrick next Wed, I’ll deny I ever posted this. 😅

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
He knows he's undroppable for the final and that it will probably be his last game for us.

He'd better fuckin show up for the final now, the fucking simp.

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
People actually think good on Antonio speaking out? The bloke is an absolute prick. Its unprofessional in the extreme talking about a team mate at anytime let alone a week out from a cup final, not to mention a load of old bollocks that he can’t adapt. Before the World Cup and his injury, Scamacca was starting to show his quality. He’s right only in that under a better manager he’d be excellent and Antonio would be nowhere to be seen.

I hope he fucks off in the summer. Almost feel like thats what he’s angling for. One big signing on fee before he retires. Everton probably.

The thickest footballer around. Made me laugh when answering about Scamacca speaking English. I reckon he does so with more eloquence than this arrogant knobhead.

Moyes is a Dithering Dinosaur…

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
Give the man some respect. . He's simply told the truth and has probably been fucked off with Moyes' tactics, as we all have.

He's been shoved around many positions and has always worked his bollocks off. And you're slagging him off.

Get a fucking grip.

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
And off they go again, the hate for Antonio on here is simply surreal, while at the same time talking up an invisible Italian like he's Marco Van Basten.

Re: Antonio on Scamacca
I'm still hopeful Scamacca might stay. We tried a higher possession based style at the beginning of the season which, whilst it didn't work, would play much better to Scamacca's strengths. Perhaps with a few new signings Moyes might be keen to try it again.

dealcanvey 9:21 Thu Jun 1
Re: Antonio on Scamacca
I doubt Scamacca will be at the club next season.

You don’t have a team mate publicly stating he needs a different manager and pointing out all his flaws unless you knew he was going.

fraser 9:52 Thu Jun 1
Re: Antonio on Scamacca
I don't really think he's pointed out his flaws, as what he's said would apply to the majority of strikers which is why we can't get one that suits. Is he criticising Moyes tactics, possibly, but maybe just talking honestly. But it's all really unnecessary isn't it.

The only mystery is after his earlier season ones he hasn't been pulled up on it.

Mike Oxsaw 10:02 Thu Jun 1
Re: Antonio on Scamacca
Maybe the club is about to release some unpalatable news so they're using Antonio as a media distraction?

Willtell 10:02 Thu Jun 1
Re: Antonio on Scamacca
I'm glad some of you are sensible enough to speak up for Antonio. All he has done is tell the fucking truth.

And it's confirmation that what most of us have been saying about Moyes for a couple of years is correct. Moyes is a pragmatic manager that defends first and leaves the striker to feed off scraps. Something Antonio does but Scamacca doesn't.
